Evonik wins Ringier Technology Innovation Award 2011 for coatings

The matting agent ACEMATT® 3600 received honorable recognition from the industries.

Ms. Shen Lan attended the award ceremonies and received the awards on behalf of Evonik.

A panel of independent experts from the coatings industry recognizes Evonik’s ACEMATT® 3600, a novel matting agent for eco-friendly UV-coatings. It is produced via unique proprietary dry-coating process.

“For more than a decade, the coatings industry has been developing new coatings technologies with the aim to reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and ‘to go green’.” said Mr. Charles Lau, Marketing Director, Coating Solution, Asia Pacific. “UV-curable coatings systems are one of the best solutions, growing much faster than the conventional coatings market especially in the fast growing coating demand China.”
